email Tan-y-Clogwyn

Directions: From Shrewsbury, take the A5 to North Wales. Turn left on to the B4406 through Penmachno. Take sharp turning right at The Eagle Hotel, taking you out of the village. Follow signs to Ty Coch (pony Trekking) and Ty Mawr (National Trust), go up steep hill through forest and down into the Gwibernant Valley. Tan-y-Clogwyn is the fourth (and last) house in the valley.

From the North Wales Coast Road A55, take the A470 through Llanrwst, past Betwys-y-Coed, forking right towards Blaenau Ffestiniog. After two miles, turn left over small humped-back bridge and keeping right, follow narrow lane along valley past three groups of cottages. The lane climbs steeply through woodlands, past a further cottage and a very steep hill, finally reaching the Gwibernant Valley. Tan-y-Clogwyn is on the right.
