Tan-y-clogwyn is the perfect place for a wide range of activites and interests. For the active, the high hills of Snowdonia offer endless opportinities to walk and climb and pony trekking and riding facilities are nearby. Fishing enthusiasts can fish both trout and salmon on a temporary residents basis and if lazing on the beach sounds more appealing, the sandy beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula and Anglesey are perfect.

There are numerous fine castles, historic houses and some superb gardens to visit.

If you are looking for real peace and tranquility, the immediate surroundings of Tan-y-Clogwyn are wonderful, you can walk for miles without meeting a soul and the views are simply breathtaking. Wildlife enthusiasts will find many interesting and unusual birds, including the Red Kite and we once boasted a resident mountain goat!
